Preparing the home
Homes must be staged and/or cleaned to the agent and seller’s preferences before the photographer arrives.
Personal items (anything that is not furniture or decoration that is meant to be in the image) should be put away in closets/cupboards or removed in advance. If the photographer sees something that was missed that should not be in the photo, he will move it temporarily, and will try to return it to its original position, but that should be done by the seller or agent.
During the Session
The floor currently being photographed must be clear of people.
If video or 3D tour is being shot, the house must be empty of people.
Processing Time for RE Photos/Video
For all RE photos and video expect to receive the edited work by 6:00 pm the next day.
For agent headshots, social media content etc, that is not tied to a current listing lead times may be a bit longer.
Copyright and Licensing
All media created by Rodrick MacPherson or a subcontractor remains the property of that photographer.
All media is licensed for the marketing of the listed property and license is valid as long as you continue to hold the listing for that sale and for any use related to that listing. Marketing materials for the realtor or broker after the fact may be negotiated separately. Sub-licencing to other businesses, such as stagers, magazines, etc. is not permitted, please send 3rd parties to me for licensing.
3D tours are hosted and cannot be downloaded. Hosting will continue for the duration of the listing.
Short-term rental property media is a different class of licensing from for sale listings, as rental listings for AirBnB, VRBO and similar sites is expected to be used for a longer period of time. I do have rates for those types of listings, please inquire on the contact page.
Rescheduling
Rescheduling a shoot with more than 1 hour notice will not incur a rescheduling fee.
Rescheduling within 1 hour will incur a $60 fee, after arrival on the property will incur a $100 rescheduling fee.
Delivery
You will be given a link to download your media assets.
You can download the full size photos, photos pre-formatted to the MLS specs, or any custom resizing you want.
Social Media optimized photos and videos and print-ready flyers and brochures are part of the Gold package

You can download and re-download your media as many times as you like.
